“I invite you to watch, smell, taste and feel my love story.” Max Brenner.

Max Brenner is my favorite place to hang out with my friends in Sydney.

This place is not only about chocolate. The place has a magic of chocolate. People in there are magicked by Max Brenner’s great magical chocolate. They all looks very happy and are smiling with the chocolate.

People loves chocolate. From kids to adult, it doesn’t matter the age but when I am enjoying the chocolate in Max Brenner, I feel like back to my childhood. I was excited about little treat from my mom and I was really happy.

Unfortunately it’s not treat anymore and I’m adult enough to buy my chocolate by myself but still for me, it is like little treat as same as my mom gave it to me in old days.

Shepherd

When hiking in the Indian Himalayas you will sometimes cross the path of a shepherd. These nomadic locals are constantly travelling from cave to cave with their flocks of sheep and goat.

This particular shepherd took an extra interest in us because of the large dog we had befriended. According to the shepherd, this dog (looked more like a wolf) had eaten several of his goats and unless we agreed to pay for the eaten goats we must scare the dog away.

We did so to keep the shepherd happy, though our guide spent the rest of the freezing night grumbling about how cold he was without his wooly dog friend.

kangaroo

Another enjoyment of a journey is meal. We can try the food that we can eat in our country. So this time I tried Kangaroo meat and sausage. One time I tried it before was Kangaroo jerky. It was not bad and It was almost same as beef jerky. So I wanted to try something more really Kangaroo.

In Australia, now in winter though, but you can still enjoy BBQ beside a beach . You can also BBQ facility so you just need some meet, some sauce, some veggies, some oil and beer… Unfortunately drinking alchol outside is illegal in New South Wales. So we grabbed pops instead.

You can get Kangaroo meat or sausage in usual supermarket. We bought Kangaroo steak and Kangaroo sausage. If you don’t know it’s Kangaroo, you think it’s beef but slightly redder than beef.

Kangaroo is a bit gamey but it had well flavour. We wanted to eat it as rear but we can eat it as rear or not so we cooked its well-done. It tastes somewhat like beef but some people say tastes like chiken. So I think it depends on how you eat.

In Sydney, they have expensive couisine for Kangaroo as well. I don’t have chance to eat the meat in there but if you come to Australia, I think it worth to try at least once.

cemetery

It is bit awkward to begin with cemetery for first post but there is a beautiful cemetery around palm beach in Sydney. I’ve only seen in my life was Japanese cemetery and didn’t have any chance to visit or I didn’t want to visit there from the reason of my curiosity.

The place where the cemetery was absolutely beautiful. It is surrounded by the ocean and from there you can see the extensive sky and the illimitable ocean. I am usually bit scared when I am in a cemetery but I felt peace and relaxed. This is the great place where you sleep in peace forever.

The style of cemetery was completely different from Japanese one. The cemetery has many stone statues and each gravestone has own style and they were unique as well. If you look at only sculptures, you feel like you are in a museum and I can see the connection between the earth and the heaven.

I saw a lot of gravestones that says “Born in Italy”. In early days in Australia, they had a gold rush and Southern European such as Greek and Italian or Chinese immigrated Australia. I can’t imagine what they imagine and hope to come here but it could be hard to live in another country without airplane or phone or internet. I wish they had peace amid the ocean and the sky after their long journey.

ship

We are lucky enough to travel all over the world. We love adventures in the wild or new culture that we are not similar with to find something new and interesting. We are really enjoying to communicate with local people to get into the different society.

We could see lots of things that we couldn’t find in our own born place. We believe that whole planet is full of magnificent nature and each part has a great cultural heritage.

We “windroamers” love to share with our experience and we hope that you will enjoy the journey though our website.

At the end, we also would like to use this website for news to our friends in different places.
